The term ‘Digital Artefact’ had no real meaning when it was introduced to me in Ted’s first lecture. And to be honest, I still don’t completely understand what it actually means. So when it came time to choose a topic for my digital artefact, i really struggled.
A few ideas which first popped into my head were:
- Fashion
- Beauty
- Fitness
- Food
- Lifestyle
- Dance
I am currently leaning more towards Fashion and lifestyle but feel as though i don’t have a strong enough concept to work with. Thinking back to the lecture where Ted suggests a digital artefact which is #FIST (which stands for fast, inexpensive, simple and tiny) i think choosing just one topic will be a better option and will allow me to focus and concentrate on making my digital artefact to be FIST.
For time being, i am going to research more about these topics to see if that will help me decide. However, knowing how indecisive i am, i will probably change my idea multiple times before i fully commit!
Ill be back soon with (hopefully) my decided topic and a start to my DA to share with you.
